DESCRIPTION:Beneficiaries:- 115 \n \nThe Rotary Club of Surat Diamond City successfully co-hosted the premier “Monsoon on Wheels 2026” fellowship car rally on 1st and 2nd August 2026\, hosted by our partner club\, the Rotary Club of Tarsadi Kosamba. \nAligned with our 2026-27 slogan to “Create Lasting Impact\,” this major inter-club initiative aimed to deepen regional fellowship and promote nature-based tourism. Members and their families drove a scenic route from Tarsadi to historic sites. Day 1 featured a spiritual stop at Zand Hanumanji Temple in Halol and a cultural night of Karaoke and Garba at the Champaner Heritage Resort. SUMMARY:Child Safety Seminar: Growing Up Is Confusing
DESCRIPTION:Beneficiaries:- 800+ students \n     \nOn 13th August 2026\, the Rotary Club of Surat Diamond City (Club ID: 83400)\, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Surat Diamond City\, successfully executed Phase 1 of our youth welfare initiative titled “Growing up is Confusing – And That’s Okay”. \nThe joint community project took place across two local institutions on Sumul Dairy Road Brightland Primary English School. The seminars were led by expert guest speaker Rishika Agarwal\, an RCI Licensed Clinical Psychologist and founder of Mind’s Park Clinic. \nThe awareness sessions educated over 800+ primary and high school students on recognizing emotional transitions\, establishing healthy personal boundaries\, understanding safety concepts\, and destigmatizing adolescent mental wellness. SUMMARY:80th Independence Day Celebration at Saroli School
DESCRIPTION:Beneficiaries:- 250+ School Children and faculty \n \nOn 15th August 2026\, the Rotary Club of Surat Diamond City (Club ID: 83400)\, in joint collaboration with the Rotaract Club of Surat Diamond City\, successfully executed a high-impact national celebration project at Saroli Primary School. \nLed by Club President Babubhai Hansrajbhai Kavathia and coordinated by Rotaract Committee Chair Rajesh Chabhadiya\, the joint service team assembled alongside school administrators\, teachers\, and children for the official hoisting of the national tricolor . The flag hoisting was followed by the singing of the National Anthem and patriotic student performances. To encourage education and support local families\, our club distributed educational notebooks\, stationery kits\, and premium sweet boxes to 250+ underprivileged primary students . Titled “Growing up is Confusing – And That’s Okay\,” the seminar was specifically designed for high school girls navigating the complex psychological\, physiological\, and emotional transitions of adolescence. \nLed by clinical psychologist Rishika Agarwal\, the interactive workshop provided an open\, safe\, and age-appropriate forum for the girls. The curriculum addressed healthy emotional boundaries\, neuropsychological stress management\, and self-protection guidelines.
