Hindi Day, also known as “Hindi Diwas,” is celebrated on 14th September every year in India to promote and spread the importance of the Hindi language, which is one of the official languages of India. The day is chosen to commemorate the adoption of Hindi in Devanagari script as one of the official languages of India by the Constituent Assembly of India on 14th September 1949.
