The President chairs all regular club meetings and Board meetings, sets the agenda in consultation with other officers, and ensures that meetings are meaningful, organized, and aligned with Rotary’s core values: service, fellowship, diversity, integrity, and leadership.

The Secretary of a Rotary Club holds a vital administrative and organizational position, serving as the backbone of club operations. This officer is responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date records, facilitating effective communication within the club and with Rotary International, and ensuring the smooth, efficient management of club affairs throughout the Rotary year. As the club’s chief record-keeper, the Secretary is entrusted with documenting and preserving all essential information related to club meetings, board decisions, and membership data. This includes preparing and distributing agendas for meetings (in collaboration with the President), recording detailed minutes of club and board meetings, and ensuring that those records are accurate, accessible, and properly archived.
